EcoPacks was inspired by a life-changing experience in the heart of Tamil Nadu, fueling a passion for creating a greener world.
During a soul-searching journey in Tamil Nadu, our founder Marc discovered the captivating beauty of the region and the warmth of its people. Amidst his exploration, he was deeply moved by the devastating effects of plastic pollution on the environment, wildlife, and local communities, as well as the plastic waste polluting the pristine beaches along the Bay of Bengal. This heart-wrenching sight triggered a deep emotional response, sparking a burning desire within Marc to make a difference.
One heart-wrenching moment that shook him to the core was discovering a struggling egret, its legs entangled in a deadly snare of discarded plastic waste. The bird’s desperate cries for help served as a painful reminder of the urgent need to protect our planet and its vulnerable inhabitants. Compelled to act, Marc carefully freed the egret from the plastic trap and nursed it back to health, witnessing firsthand the resilience and beauty of nature.
This profound experience fueled his determination to establish EcoPacks, a company dedicated to creating eco-friendly, compostable packaging solutions that empower businesses to reduce their environmental footprint and contribute to a sustainable future. By replacing harmful plastics with innovative, biodegradable alternatives, EcoPacks aims to not only protect our planet but also improve the quality of life for communities and wildlife affected by plastic waste.
